Congratulations, you bought a Jeep, welcome to the Jeep family! The next step, customize your Jeep to make it your own. There is a variety of different accessories to choose from to upgrade your Jeep! There’s literally everything from different wheels, wheel covers, to exterior light bars, to hammocks! I think the hammock is the coolest accessory on the market.
There are grille inserts that go on the backside of your grille. This adds a pop of color and a time to show your personality with whatever color or design you pick. When I say there are hundreds to choose from, there are literally thousands of different grille inserts. You can pick your favorite color, design, state/country flag, or your favorite movie.
The easiest way to upgrade your Jeep is to take off the weak halogen lights and replace them with LED headlights. This is going to allow you to see clearly and further down the roads on dark roads, rainy weather, and while off-roading. This is a fairly inexpensive way to upgrade your Jeep in a safe way to take you from on-road to off-road with ease.
Sun is shining and it’s a beautiful day but you don’t want to take too much time to put your top down. BOOM, electric soft top. This makes it easy as 1,2,3. Maybe you have a hard top but don’t always want the hassle of taking your top off, finding somewhere to put it, etc. Having a power soft top gives you the option to switch between the two. Hardtop in the winter, soft top in the summers for the best of both worlds.
It’s almost impossible to own a Jeep and not lift it. It’s like a rite of passage when buying a Jeep. You can lift your Jeep anywhere between 2 and 4 inches with a Mopar lift kit. Lifting your Jeep allows you to have a few more inches of ground clearance. Why is that important you may ask? Well, it makes sure you have more clearance to go over obstacles and nothing is scrapping the undercarriage. It also makes it look cooler. You get functionality and aesthetics, woo. Lifting your Jeep can be a bit pricey as it ranges from about $2,000-4,000 depending on which lift you get. In my experience though, most people opt to have it lifted so go ahead, treat yourself.
The accessory no one needs but we all secretly want. A Jeep hammock has to be my favorite accessory. You can clip it up fairly easily, hop up on top to catch the sunrise or sunset, and enjoy nature’s pure beauty. Kick your feet up and relax while you’re on one of your many adventures. Warning, everyone will be asking for a turn to sit in your Jeep hammock.
